Myth 1If I carry white flowers against my ivory dress the dress will look dirtyThis may have held true back in the day, but with today's advanced photo equipment and highly skilled photographers, this is no longer and issue.Myth 2Blue roses are natural.No - they are not. Neither are blue orchids. The vibrant blue color is caused by a dye and this bright dye can and will stain your dress. Avoid these flowers!Myth 3Orchids are expensive.Sure,Long Evening Dresses, some are very expensive but Dendrobium's,Bridesmaid Dresses Jackets, Mokara's and Cymbidium's are all readily available and for their size and the exotic factor not much more than a high quality rose.Myth 4Hydrangea won't last in a bouquet.Again this may be true if you live in the South and are getting married in August,Evening Gowns, for most of us though this is not an issue. Hydrangea that are well treated and properly hydrated and sent out in water. Myth 5If I am a “Plus Size” girl I have to hold a Cascade style bouquet.Again the answer is NO! Sure a cascade style is gorgeous,Sample Bridal Gowns, and the tapered look will move the eye down your body, while a round bouquet does not do this. But is a round bouquet going to make you look “rounder”. No. An ill-fitting dress that causes spill over will. This goes for all girls not just “Plus Size”. Focus on a great and well fitting dress and then any style of flowers will compliment your figure.
